Analysis and Numerical Simulation of Liquid Krypton Flow Resistance in Membrane Channel Gas-liquid Acquisition Device

  • In order to meet the requirements of gas-liquid separation of cryogenic propellant in space environment, for the problem of cryogenic liquid-krypton propellant acquisition and transmission in orbit, a theoretical prediction model is established to obtain the bubble-point pressure of liquid-krypton in saturated state of 120 K flowing in 325×2300 Dutch twill woven mesh. The influence laws of different cryogenic fluids, channel widths, and mass flow rates on the over-the-network pressure drop are comparatively analyzed. The pressure drop distributions of liquid-krypton flowing in the channel are obtained. The pressure drop distribution of liquid-krypton flow in the channel is obtained, and the model is verified by the pressure drop test data of liquid hydrogen over the network. The numerical simulation model of liquid krypton single-channel flow is established, which can better predict the pressure loss across the network.
