THEORY STUDY OF SECONDARY ELECTRON EMISSION DEPENDED ON SURFACE CHARGE OF INSULATOR

  • Spacecraft charging due to electron in space can cause serious problems to the safety and reliability of spacecraft and the secondary electron emission(SEE)of insulators is important to study of spacecraft charging. This paper investigates the model of secondary electron emission as a function of the surface potential of the insulators. The results indicate that the trends of secondary electron are falling off with increasing of surface potential, and the work can provide the perspective of the spacecraft charging problem.
