THE STUDY ON PREVENTION OF ICE ADHESION IN ICE SLURRY GENERATOR

  • ice slurry has high energy storage density and provides high heat transfer coefficient because of containing much small ice crystals.Ice crystal easily sticks to metallic walls at lower temperature,which directly hinders continuous ice formation or system performances due to the increase of flow and thermal resistance.The adhesive properties of ice is analyzed,some technology about prevention of ice adhesion when ice slurry is generating is summarized in this paper.In order to solve the problem of ice blockage,an experiment,which produces ice slurry by controlling flow velocities of secondary refrigerant and ice slurry solution,is established and proposing more means to improve its stability.
