REACH ON PROCESS OF REDUCTION OF ILMENITE BY MICROWAVE PLASMA

  • Ilmenite was reduced by microwave plasma technology in hydrogen and methane atmosphere.The effect of flow of methane and microwave power on the phase characteristics and morphology of reduction products was analyzed by XRD and SEM.The results showed that it was benefit to reduction of ilmenite and growth of carbon nanotubes by increasing the flow of methane or microwave power.
