RESEARCH PROGRESS AND APPLICATION OF OPTICAL GRADE CVD DIAMOND FILMS

Diamond films,excellent optical property make it become the best choice of optical window materials.The limited numbers,high cost and granular shape of natural diamond limit its application in optical filed.The appearance of chemical vapor deposition（CVD） technology makes it reality that diamond films could be used in this aspect.In this paper,The preparation of optical grade CVD diamond thick films and thin films was firstly introduced,then the research progress of them both at home and abroad was pointed out,finally,the prospect of optical grade CVD diamond films was proposed.
