INVESTIGATION ON GROUND TEST OF EFFECTIVE ION TRANSPARENCY WITH ION THRUSTER

During the development of the Ion thruster,with measured the related signal of current,the efficiency of ion extraction on ion optics for the evaluation of the characteristic of the thruster is very significant.This article test the effective ion transparency in the ground vacuum apparatus,in addition to improvement of the test circuit by importing the negative bias power,the result is more adjacent to the real working value.On this basis,the article analyze the affection of transparency on discharge process.
