RESEARCH OF CRYOCOOLER APPLICATION IN SPACE INFRARED SENSOR SYSTEM

  • Mechanical cryocooler has been profoundly used in space infrared remote sensor system to provide low working temperature for detectors. By comparing the developments of infrared remote sensor and mechanical cryocooler both in China and abroad, more research work need to be done on both high capacity and very low temperature cryocoolers in the future. In addition, two important performance evaluation methods, lifetime and vibration are discussed. The achievements and future works on electromagnetic compatibility and coupling design between cryocooler and sensor have been discussed.
