THEORETICAL ANALYSIS OF MULTILAYER INSULATION FOR CRYOGENIC STORAGE SYSTEM

  • The performance of high vacuum multilayer insulation is important for the security of cryogenic storage tank.Based on modified Lockheed model of heat transfer, cold boundary temperature, hot boundary temperature, layer density on effect of multilayer insulation were calculated. The variable density multilayer insulation of three domains was presented. Finally a new type of multilayer insulation which has excellent performance was concerned according to the heat-leaking demand of cryogenic storage tank.
