The Design and Test of Plug-in Cryopanel Simulated Pumping System

  • The design and test of a simulated plug-in cryopanel used in the CYCIAE-100 cyclotron of BRIF was introduced. The simulated plug-in cryopanel consisted of two cryopanels,a baffle,a half-opened shield,two refrigerators. The refrigerators had a power of 83W@80K at the first stage and 7.5W@20K at the second stage respectively. The designed pumping speed of the simulated cryopanel was 15 000 l/s. The simulated cryopanel,pumping speed,cool-down time,ultimate pressure,temperature distribution on the cryopanel have been tested overall,and capacity at pressures of 10 6 Pa to 1Pa have been measured too. Last, The design parameters and experimental results were compared.
