PRESENT STATUS AND EXPECTATION OF PROPOORTIONAL FLOW CONTROL VALVES FOR ELECTRIC THRUSTER

  • Aiming at the requirements for high-precision of attitude and orbit control mechanism and undamped adjustment of spacecraft in orbit, proportional flow control valve must be used in the propellant feed unit of electric thruster. It is possible to regulate propellant flow in a high-precision,low-noise and wide way.Strain properties for materials and throttling effort of micro-flow channels are employed to achieve rapid, stable and continuously adjustment of propellant by adjusting and controlling the material strain to change the size of the flow channel structure.Based on the domestic space mission application requirements in the future, this thesis introduces the development of proportional flow control valve and analysis its trend to provide guidance on its development.
