NUMERICAL SIMULATION ON BOILING HEAT TRANSFER OF R30 IN RECTANGLE MICROCHANNEL

  • Boiling heat transfer of R30 refrigerant in a rectangle microchannel with the diameter of 0.5 mm×0.5 mm and the length of 500 mm is numerically simulated with FLUENT software using VOF two-phrase flow model.The inlet working condition of refrigerant and mass flow rate are chosen as variables.The law of typical flow regimes,average wall temperature,heat transfer coefficient and void fraction are obtained.The simulation result shows that it is useful to enhance the boiling heat transfer of R30 in micro-channel by increasing the inlet temperature and pressure of the refrigerant. Heat transfer coefficient is increased with the increasing of flow rate and decreased with the increasing of void fraction.
