THE CURRENT SITUATION AND PROSPECTS OF CRYOGENIC OSCILLATING HEAT PIPE

  • Cryogenic oscillating heat pipe was considered as a high performance heat transfer unit, and was suited for cooling superconducting magnet, electronic devices and harvesting energy. The principle and characteristics of cryogenic oscillating heat pipe were illustrated, and the differences between cryogenic and medium-high temperature oscillating heat pipes were analyzed. The development of cryogenic oscillating heat pipe on the theoretical model and experiment was reviewed. and some existing technical problems based on research status were pointed out, some future development requirements of cryogenic oscillating heat pipe were also proposed.
