THE EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON THE STIRLING TYPE CRYOCOOLER WITH TWO COLD FINGER REFRIGERATING AT DIFFERENT TEMPERATURE

  • With the development of diversification of the space missions, cryogenic system is required to provide different refrigeration capacity at different temperature. To meet the requirement, we always made expanders in series, which was difficult in coupling. In this paper, we innovatively use a single compressor to drive two parallel expanders to implement the requirement of providing different refrigeration capacity at 95 K and 150 K. Compared to using two refrigerators, it reduces the weight and power, increases the level of integration. Compared to the tandem structure, it reduces the heat coupling difficulty and complexity. While the background of the space refrigeration requirement becoming more and more complicated, this kind of refrigeration structure provides a new train of thought for the compactness and integration of refrigerators.
