EXPERIMENTAL ANALYSIS OF A SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC STIRLING FREEZER

  • Solar photovoltaic freezer takes solar energy as input power, which has great advantages over regular household refrigerators. It can be applied in preserving food or medicines, especially used in remote power shortage areas without the environmental pollution. In this paper, a solar photovoltaic Stirling freezer was tested and analyzed. The cooling performances of the Stirling freezer driven by photovoltaic are tested in detail under different conditions. Variations of temperatures within the Stirling freezer and power consumptions are also measured and analyzed under different ambient temperatures.
