SIMULATION OF STRUCTURAL PARAMETERS ON MOVING-MAGNET LINEAR MOTOR FOR MINIATURE-SCALE AIR-CONDITIONING LINEAR COMPRESSOR

  • Miniature-scale air-conditioning has important development prospects in the electronic device cooling and human air conditioning. The moving-magnet linear compressor can be used for miniature-scale air-conditioning system. A simulation model for moving-magnet linear motor was built up by the software of Ansoft Maxwell. The influence of the structural parameters such as the thickness and shape of the outer yoke, the thickness of the inner yoke and the length of the permanent magnet on the performance of the motor were studied in detail. The change curves of coil current, copper loss, inductance, electromagnetic force, specific thrust and displacement amplitude were obtained. The simulation results are of great theoretical and engineering significance for the design and development of moving-magnet linear compressors.
