DEVELOPMENT STATUS OF VACUUM ARC THRUSTER CONFIGURATION

  • Micro-nano satellites are the cheapest and easiest way to enter space,and are currently developing rapidly in the world.And in order to make micro-nano-satellite to achieve better on-orbit function,for micro-nano-propulsion technology to put forward higher requirements.Micro-vacuum arc propulsion is a promising technology for micro-nano satellites.In recent years,it has been favored by the world's aerospace research institutions and universities,and is becoming a hotspot in micro-propulsion field research.In this paper,the configuration of micro-vacuum arc thruster is discussed.The configuration of flat type,coaxial type,ring type and new type thruster is introduced.The structure,size and performance of the thruster are introduced in detail.The advantages and disadvantages of each configuration are analyzed,and the general trend of the development of the propeller configuration is discussed.
