PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF O-RING WITH SURFACE TEXTURE

O-ring is wildly used in spacecraft.In order to improve the seal performance，the structure of O-ring with surface texture is firstly established，the effect of considering surface texture or not on the O-ring performance is analyzed by finite element method as well，and then the advantage of O-ring with surface texture is represented.Meanwhile，the effect of compression ratio and fluid pressure on the performance of O-ring with surface texture is analyzed respectively.Therefore the research contributes to improve the engineering design of O-ring in the paper.
