STUDY ON PARAMETER MATCHING AND OPTIMIZATION METHOD IN HIGH FREQUENCY DOUBLE-COLD-FINGER PULSE TUBE CRYOCOOLER

  • In this paper,an experimental study of using one compressor to drive a single cold finger and double cold fingers is carried out.The study found that the refrigeration performance and efficiency of double-cold-finger pulse tube cryocooler are inferior to the single cold finger type. The reason is that the total impedance of the double cold fingers is not matched with the compressor. Therefore, from the point of impedance, the parameter matching between the double cold fingers and the compressor is analyzed in this article.According to the derived theoretical formula of PV work transformation efficiency of linear compressor, the optimization of the linear compressor coupled with double cold fingers is predicted. The optimized double-cold-finger pulse tube cryocooler’s theoretical PV work transformation efficiency is almost the same with single cold finger type.
