ADVANCES IN JET IMPINGING HEAT TRANSFER

Jet impingement cooling,which can increase heat transfer coefficient notably,has good development and applied prospects.The flow characteristics and heat transfer characteristics of jet impingement cooling are complex.Recently,there have been many publications related to heat transfer mechanism,numerical simulation and experimental measurements of jet impinging heat transfer.This paper analyzes these publications,makes a summary from the flow features of impinging jet,the effect factors of heat transfer and the main research methods,and discusses the existing problems and the research prospects in this field.
