ANALYSIS AND DESIGN OF LANGMUIR PROBE FOR DIAGNOSE OF ION THRUSTER DISCHARGE PLASMA

  • The discharge chamber is the core component of the ion thruster.At present,less relevant work of diagnosing of the plasma inside the discharge chamber has been carried out in China.In this paper,the diagnostic principle and data processing method of the Langmuir probe are introduced.The structure,size,and materials of Langmuir probe are introduced in details.The factors which effect diagnosing accuracy are demonstrated and proposed corresponding solution method.
