Development of Vacuum Leak Testing Facility for Manned Spacecraft Hatch

  • It has highly request in seal capability in manned spacecraft hatch,because the seal performance would influence the life of astronauts.To meet the seal performance of manned spacecraft hatch,it is necessary to do abundant leak testing experiments.With the development of the Chinese manned spacecrafts,there will be many different hatches.In order to fulfill the requirements of leak testing for manned spacecraft hatch,it is necessary to development a new hatch leak testing facility.The new vacuum leak testing facility introduces vacuum chamber,thermal shroud,vacuum pumping and leak testing system,thermal simulation system and measure & control system.The new facility has less pumping time,wider test temperature,higher leak testing sensitivity,which could fulfill the hatch leak testing requirement of developing manned spacecrafts.
