Numerical Simulation and Optimization Design of Two-stage Stirling Cryocooler

  • In order to achieve the cooling performance of 1.5 W@40 K, an oxford-type two-stage Stirling cryocooler was designed.A Sage model of the oxford-type two-stage Stirling cryocooler was built up.Then, the simulation analysis of this model was carried out.The thermodynamic and dynamic parameters of the Stirling cryocooler were optimized when the operating frequency and the length of displacer were limited.The optimal two-stage Stirling cryocooler could achieve the cooling performance of 1.5 W@40 K.In addition, the performance of expander was up to 2.72%.
