Analysis on Multiple Utilization of Solar Energy and Its Possibility of Application in Space Station

  • The intensity of solar spectrum in space station is 1 353 W/cm2,and visible light part is 38%in all.The consumption of electricity energy in spacecraft will be reduced significantly if the visible light is separated from solar sunlight and applied to spacecraft directly.This paper illustrated the principle of multiple utilization of solar energy.The development history and research status of multiple utilization of solar energy are reviewed.The difference between"the multiple utilization of solar energy"and "traditional solar cell array" was systematically investigated on basis of the structural design,energy conversion efficiency,cost and technical maturity,so as to explore the possibility of multiple utilization of solar energy applied on space station.
