Study on Performance of An Efficiency Pulse Tube Refrigerator Operating at Two Temperature Zones

  • A two pulse tube cold fingers driven by a compressor can provide cooling capacities at different cooling temperature zones simultaneously.Based on the impedance matching characteristics,a moving magnetic linear compressor is used to drive a low temperature cold finger(LCF,60~80 K) and a high temperature cold finger(HCF,110~170 K).The change of the cooling characteristics of one cold finger will affect the inlet pressure fluctuations of the two cold fingers,the displacement of the linear compressor and the cooling characteristics of the other cold finger.The typical cooling performance of 5.7 W@80 K& 10.9 W@110 K and 3.3 W@60 K& 20 W@170 K can be achieved by the pulse tube refrigerator,which can satisfy the applications in space,energy and medical treatment.
