Preparation of High Qualith TiO2 Nanotube Photonic Crystal by Anodization and Its Photonic Band Gap Regulation

  • High quality TiO2 nanotube photonic crystal with more uniform periodic structure was successfully prepared by improved anodization method with voltage compensation mechanism.The results showed that a suitable compensation voltage could effectively solve the problem of uneven periodic structure caused by the current attenuation in the preparation process for TiO2 nanotube photonic crystal,which is quite an improvement in quality of photonic bandgap.By adjusting the duration of high or low voltage and temperature,we could fulfill to regulate the position of the photonic bandgap within visible light range.Meanwhile,it was found that the electronic bandgap of the TiO2 nanotube photonic crystal was increased slightly with the increase of the duration of high voltage but it was narrowed slightly as the electrolyte temperature increased.
