Development of Thermal Vacuum Test Facility for The Large Optical Payloads of HEO Satellites

  • Athermal vacuum test facility, named Y1H,was developed by Shanghai Institute of Spacecraft Equipment,to meet the thermal test requirement of large optical payloads of HEO satellites. The Y1H facility has a φ2m solar simulator, which is the largest collimation solar simulator of China in space environment.Y1H includes two chambers with a horizontal combination structure, and the effective size of the main chamber is φ6m×6.5 m.The ultimate vacuum is better than 3×10-5Pa,and the temperature of thermal shroud is better than 100 K.This paper briefly introduces technical specifications and structure configuration of the Y1H facility.
