Application of Coil Regenerator in liquid Air Energy Storage System

  • Liquid air energy storage(LAES) is an effective solution of intermittency and randomness of renewable energy with the characteristics of high efficiency and environmental friendliness.The mainstream technology of LAES has been equipped with regenerator(cold storage) and cold exchanger separately that will result in complicated operation,large land occupation and high investment cost.A coil regenerator integrated together with function of cold exchanger and cold storage is proposed based on existing technology,which helps improve the efficiency and economy of LAES.
