Experimental Study on Automatic Performance Test of Pulse Tube Cryocooler Based on Pid Temperature Control

  • In this paper,the PID temperature control program for pulse tube cooling and its test results are reported.The PID temperature control program is introduced into the existing test and control system of pulse tube cryocooler in the laboratory.The experimental results show that the PID temperature control program can conveniently measure the cooling capacity of the pulse tube cryocooler under the specified temperature and the input power of the cryocooler,and measure the input power of the cryocooler under the specified temperature and cooling capacity.The temperature stability with±0.02 K,which is much better than ±0.3 K generally required.It realizes a more accurate measurement of cooling performance,therefore it can replace the original interpolation method and manual temperature control test method.
