Thermal-structural Deformation Analysis of the Carbon Fiber Honeycomb Sandwich Antenna

  • The deformation under gravity and heat has always been an important factor influencing the coating quality and the precision of the carbon fiber honeycomb sandwich antenna. The thermal-structural deformation analysis carried out with FEAcan provide scientific basis and pin support for the design of coating equipment. The thermo-mechanical coupled method was used to simulate the deformation of the antenna using ANSYS software, and analyzed the deformation characteristics under both gravity and heat. The results of analysis show that there is no obvious law of antenna deformation and installation angle. The deformation and stress of rigid fixed antenna are greater than those of non-rigid fixed antenna. The minimum deformation of non-rigid fixed antenna occurs when it is installed at 45 degree. When the antenna is coated,it should be fixed by floating installation and installed at 45 degree.
