Influence of Rubber Seal on Leakage Detection by Helium Mass Spectrometry Vacuum Pressure Method Was Analyzed and Tested

  • Generally,rubber O-rings are used as sealing materials for aerospace products,because the rubber O-rings is susceptible to a variety of factors such as working temperature,medium gas types,pressing force and so on,thus,the actual leakage rate of aerospace products in the working process is affected.The influence mechanism of leakage rate of aerospace products and vacuum pressure detection method by helium mass spectrometry are introduced.The effects of gas permeation,pressing force,working temperature and inflatable pressure on the leakage rate of aerospace products using rubber sealing materials are emphatically introduced,and has carried on the test and the analysis.The results show that permeability,working temperature and inflatable pressure are the main factors affecting the leakage rate of aerospace products.
