Technical Development and Application of Flexible Cu(In,Ga)Se2Solar Cells

  • Flexible Cu(In,Ga)Se2(CIGS)solar cells have broad application prospects in aerospace and wearable devices due to their flexible features not available in traditional crystalline silicon solar cells.After years of technology accumulation,there are currently many companies at home and abroad engaged in the research,development and production of flexible CIGS solar cells.This article first introduces the structure of the flexible Cu(In,Ga)Se2solar cells and the history of the laboratory development of flexible CIGS solar cells on different flexible substrates.The key technologies of preparation on flexible substrates are discussed from three aspects:sodium doping technology on flexible substrates,lowtemperature deposition technology of absorption layer and preparation technology of flexible solar cell modules.On this basis,the technical problems of flexible CIGS solar cell which need to be further solved in order to popularize in a larger scale are introduced.Finally,the current situation is prospected for the technology.
