Studies on Thermal Uniformity of Gas Nitrogen Heat Sink in Space Environment Simulator

  • Thermal uniformity is one of the main technical indicators of space environment simulator heat sink.By creating a mathematical and physical model of the heat sink,the ICEM.CFD software is used to simulate the heat sink temperature field by numerical simulation.The thermal uniformity of heat sink was simulated by changing the flow rate of the refrigerant carrier in the single-pipe of the heat sink,the width and the thickness of the heat sink fins,and the pipe diameter of the branch pipes.It shows that the inlet rate of the refrigerant carrier increasing can improve the heat uniformity.The thermal uniformity of the heat sink also improves with decreasing the width of the heat sink fins,increasing the thickness of the heat sink fins and increasing the diameter of the branch pipes.
