Research Status and Prospect of Graphene-based Film as Solid Lubricating Materials

  • In recent years,micro-mechanical systems have higher requirements for reducing friction between contact surfaces,so how to design and modification the moving surface of the micro-mechanical systems need to be solved urgently.Since the discovery of graphene,which has high mechanical strength,ultra-thin thickness,low interlayer shear force,and high chemical stability,along with its derivatives,become as a research hotspot used for surface solid lubricants.This review mainly introduces the preparation methods of graphene and its derivatives thin film,and elaborates the current research status of the tribology as solid lubricating material.In the end,It points out that the friction research still needs mechanism research and technical breakthrough.
