The Optimization on the Cooldown Time of a Miniature JT Cooler

  • In this paper,an infrared detector with fast cool-down JT system of Wuhan Guide Infrared Co.,Ltd was in-troduced.The cryocooler was optimized in the aspects of inflation volume,Dewar and finned tube exchanger.Equipped with the optimized JT minicryocooler,the cool down time of the detector was shortened from 18 s@100 K to 4.5 s@100 K,and the non-uniformity of the corrected image is less than 6 mV.
