Simulation Design and Experiment of Large-Format Infrared Detectors Cold Platform

  • With the increasing array size of linear infrared detectors,the traditional coupling method of single-point connection between the cryocooler and the infrared detector has been unable to meet the requirements of temperature uniformity of the infrared detector chip. In this paper,the structure design,the simulation design and the experiment verification of large-format infrared detectors cold platform,support column and flexible cold chain have been carried out. The results show that the deformation of the cold platform is small under sinusoidal and random vibration,and the temperature uniformity is less than 0.919 K,which can satisfy the working demands of large-format infrared detector,and has been applied to practical engineering.
