The Optimal Pumping Work under Different Flow Ice Concentrations Using Evolutionary Strategy Algorithms

  • A suitable ice slurry fluid with a suitable ice concentration ratio can save the pumping cost.The design of the optimal ice concentration with the evolutionany strategy algorithms focuses on finding a cost-saving ice concentration and flow ratio scheme,which can minimize the power consumption of the pump.A theoretical model is established to simulate the effect of different ice concentration and flow rate on the performance of the pump;The data obtained are fitted by function,and the fitting results are substituted in to MATLAB evolutionary strategy algorithm to get the configuration scheme of ice concentration in ice slurry and flow under different refrigeration capacity.The simulation results show that the pump can be operated at the minimum and transportation cost can be saved when the cooling capacity of 1.388 9×104W is met,the ice concentration is 19.73% and the flow rate is 2.102 5×10-4m3/s.
