Design Control Scheme and Experimental Verification of Refrigeration System for High Temperature Superconducting Cable

  • The refrigeration system provides 77 K low temperature operating conditions for the operation of hightemperature superconducting cables,which is the basic prerequisite for stable cable operation.How to make the refrigeration system run more safely,efficiently,and easily maintained is the key problems in solving the industrial application of superconducting cable systems.In this paper,the refrigeration system installation scheme,precooling design and control method are studied,a 10m superconducting cable refrigeration system test platform is built,and the direct refrigeration design control scheme of the refrigerator is tested and verified.The test results show that the Stirling refrigeration efficiency can reach 30%.
