Key Technology Analysis of Liquid Krypton Cryogenic Propellant Tank in Electric Propulsion System

  • In order to meet the requirements of large space orbit transfer mission,based on the application demand of long-term on-orbit storage of liquid krypton propellant in electric propulsion system,this paper focuses on the research progress at home and abroad from four aspects:the shell material of cryogenic propellant tank,the thermal protection technology of tank,and the gas-liquid separation and fluid management intank under microgravity environment,the development status of corresponding key technologies is summarized,and the storage requirements of krypton working fluid are analyzed,aiming to provide reference for the design of liquid krypton propellant tank in electric propulsion system.
