The Parameters Designing for Heat Powered Dual Stirling Refrigerator

  • The free-piston double Stirling refrigeration system using Stirling positive cycle and reverse circulation can realize the direct utilization of primary energy, and is of great significance for the efficient use of energy. There is no direct mechanical connection between the moving parts of the refrigeration system, and only the free piston moving components of the heat engine and the refrigerator are coupled through fluid transmission, and the synergistic relationship between thermodynamics and dynamics is complex. In this paper, the Sage software is used to establish a free-piston double Stirling chiller model, which presets the relevant parameters of each moving component, observes the influence relationship of each component's parameters and gradually determines the initial input parameters and finally realizes the free operation of the moving components in the model. Optimize calculations with the maximum cooling capacity and COP, determine the operating and structural parameters of the system and complete structural design analysis and manufacturing. In the experimental test, the cooling temperature reached −26 °C under 400 W thermal power input, which verified the correctness of model module selection, parameter setting and structural design and achieved the prototype design goal.
