APPLICATION OF MONTE CARLO METHOD TO DESIGN HIRFL-CSR TITANIUM SUBLIMATION PUMP

  • Monte Carlo method is used to calculate the adsorbed probability with different gases adsorbed coefficients in molecular flow condition and the influence to adsorbed probability with the different shape and position of the baffle of HIRFL-CSR titanium sublimation pump. The experiment showed that the pumping speed of H2 is close to the calculation. It is proved that Monte Carlo method can be used to design titanium sublimation pump successfully.
