AEROSPACE APPLICATION OF DIAMOND FILMS

Four major method for deopsiting diamond films, new progress and developed level of diamond films are summarized. The application of diamond films on space optics, friction and lubrication, thermal management of space device, and radiation detaction are discribed. The importment of diamond film on aerospace industry is indicated. The bright prospect of diamond film in aerospace is expected in near future.
