EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF THE OSCILLATIONG FLOWCHARACTERISTICS FOR REGENERATORIN HIGH FREQUENCY PULSE TUBE REFRIGERATOR Part 2: EXPERIMENTAL APPARATUS AND DATA PROCESSING SYSTEM

  • The oscillating flow characteristics of regenerators in high frequency pulse tube cryocooler are the foundational data for pulse tube cryocooler analysis and design. However, the data are rather poor up to now. A dynamic experimental apparatus is designed and constructed to investigate the oscillating flow characteristics in regenerators. The automation is realized by programme of the Labview software. The components of experimental system, equipments for measurement and data processing system are described. The operation frequency of the system is 30~60 Hz. The dynamic pressure and the velocity signals at the two ends of the test section are sampled simultaneously. The oscillating flow characteristics of the test section are obtained by the analysis of the amplitude and phase shift of the velocity and the pressure wave.
