MONTE CARLO SIMULATION AND EXPERIMENTAL VERIFICATION FOR THE DISTRIBUTION OF THE PULSE GAS IN THE NEUTRALIZING TUBE

  • Monte Carlo method was used to simulate the distribution of the pulse gas along the axis of the neutralizing tube. The result of which was verified by instantaneously measuring and simulate entering gas. These results supply a reliable basis for vacuum system design of the neutral beam injctor.The curve of the experiments also shows that the establishing time of the gas targett hickness is 60 ms.
