STUDY ON BIO-TRIBOLOGY OF DIAMOND-LIKE CARBON FILMS ON NiTi ALLOY

  • Diamond-like carbon films were prepared by pulse arc ion plating on NiTi alloy substrate. The friction and wear behavior of DLC film were investigated by comparing with that of NiTi alloy under the same testing conditions. The results show that the diamond-like carbon films have good friction-reducible and wear-resistant capability
