DESIGN OF COMPENSATION DOME GRIDS ON XENON ION THRUSTER

Ion optic system（IOS）is one of the critical subassembly of Ion thruster（IT）.It’s performance directly affect to the IT operation performance.Grids are dominating component of the IOS.IT with dome grids are subject to significant thrust losses due to the divergence of the ion beam.A method of compensation dome grids was designed to decrease the di-vergence of the ion beam.
