THE MULTIFUNCTION TEST RIG OF GAS BEARINGS FOR TURBOEXPANDERS

A test rig for testing both static and dynamic performance of journal gas bearings,which can be used under both the atmosphere and cryogenic environment,has been built up for the need of developing turboexpanders on the basis of an old one only for the dynamic performance and only suited the atmosphere environment.The application shows that through using the rig the performance of gas bearings for turboexpanders can be mastered completely.
