INVESTIGATION OF FREQUENCY CHARACTERISTIC OF LOUDSPEAKER-DRIVEN THERMOACOUSTIC REFRIGERATOR

  • The frequency characteristic of loudspeaker-driven thermoacoustic refrigerator(TAR) and the influence factors are investigated.Experimental results under different conditions show that frequency characteristic is affected by the length of stack and types and location of stack materials and the length of resonator and gas types.A narrow frequency transmission band is existent to make TAR generate strong oscillating and cause thermoacoustic effect,the TAR achieves optimum performance at resonance frequency.The frequency characteristic is determined by compositive network elements of TAR.Then the network model is built to validate the experimental results.
