DEVELOPMENT OF THE NEW AEROCRAFT MATERIAL——ALUMINUM-LITHIUM ALLOY

The development history of aluminum-lithium alloy are summarized.The development tendency and technique are conclude. The tendency are:（1）super-intensity and super-toughness;（2）lower density;（3）improving the welding capability;（4）improving the isotropy;（5）improved microstructural stability at high temperature.The technique are:（1） element additions and micro-element additions;（2）ausforming;（3）purifying;（4） refinement,hauling and cold rolling in different direction,minishing the deformation and others. Their manufactural methods are specific emphasized. And the applications in space are recommended.
