DEVELOPMENT OF THE NEW AEROCRAFT MATERIAL——ALUMINUM-LITHIUM ALLOY

  • The development history of aluminum-lithium alloy are summarized.The development tendency and technique are conclude. The tendency are:(1)super-intensity and super-toughness;(2)lower density;(3)improving the welding capability;(4)improving the isotropy;(5)improved microstructural stability at high temperature.The technique are:(1) element additions and micro-element additions;(2)ausforming;(3)purifying;(4) refinement,hauling and cold rolling in different direction,minishing the deformation and others. Their manufactural methods are specific emphasized. And the applications in space are recommended.
