ANALYSIS AND EXPERIMENTS OF VUILLEUMIER REFRIGERATOR WITH LN₂ AS POWER

Some experimental results of Vuilleumier regfrigerator with power supplied by liquid nitrogen are given and compared with the analytical model for regenerative refrigerators and Schmidt’s. The results include the relations of refrigeration power Q _c with refrigeration temperature T _cw,the refrigeration power at 15 K, Q _c15 with phase angle θ, rotation speed n,average pressure P _av and ratio volume γ（V _HO /V _CO ）etc. Several matrix structures of the cold end regenerator are considered too.
