RADIAL SPONGE DEVICE RETENTION CAPABILITY ANALYSIS

Sponge is a key part installed in Propellant Management Device of the Surface Tension Tank. The governing equations and the computing holding volume measures of sponge were gained through analysing the principle of sponge holding. Using the equations, the liquid surface status within a sponge under the various accelerations were analysed and computed.
